|Landscape Interpretation Centre|
The Interpretation Centre in La Vall de Bianya is located in the hamlet of Sant Salvador de Bianya. Historically, this building was once the seat of the council as well as being the village school, up until the year 1969, when the village of Sant Salvador became incorporated into la Vall de Bianya.
Owing to its accessibility, location, heritage and basic architectural characteristics along with its proximity to other facilities in the valley, it fulfils the necessary requisites to take on the role of being the Interpretation Centre in la Vall de Bianya. There is a reception and information service for visitors, a space for exhibitions, exhibition and shop for local products and a presentation of audio-visual material, along with workshops for learning about local skills. Apart from all this, it is the starting point for guided tours of the village of Sant Salvador de Bianya, the Romanesque churches of the Vall de Bianya and the Roman Way.
